was watching bolt, as you do... then thought hmm Bolt should be in the next kingdom hearts (if there will be one) and then i thought hmm Lightning should be in the next kingdom hearts
Then it struck me...
their names make lightning bolt. coincidence?

You know, they don't just share a similar name, but a smilar story as well.
---WARNING! Spoilers for Bolt and FFXIII!---
Think about it; Bolt had spent most of his movie on finding Penny (first half on trying to save her, second half on wanting to reunite with her) Whilist Lightning had been trying to save her sister, Serah.
They also had tag-a-longs that kind of changed how they saw the world a bit; Mittens showed Bolt the truth about his powers and then showed him how to be a regular dog while bringing out the friendlier side, and Hope held a good influence on Lightning when he fought alongside her on their quest to find their focus.
I wouldn't be suprised if they did become a team in KH3.
